ERIC ERIC is the premier U.S. national bibliographic database of education literature. Sponsored by the US Department of Education, ERIC consists of two files: Resources in Education, covering document literature, and Current Index to Journals in Education, covering published journal literature from over 775 periodicals. The database also includes the full text of ERIC Digest records, written specifically for teachers, administrators, and other practitioners to provide topic overviews and references for more information. Document records include links to ERIC documents available electronically through EDRS. The current disc covers the most recent four years; the archival disc sets cover data from 1966 to the present, and from 1982 to the present.
EI Compendex Ei Compendex provides worldwide coverage of significant applied engineering and technology literature. Ei Compendex combines two Engineering Information Inc. publications, The Engineering Index and Engineering Meetings to provide the most comprehensive, multi-disciplinary engineering reference tool. Virtually every engineering discipline is covered: including Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, Environmental Engineering ,Applied Physics, Energy Technology and Petroleum, Automative and Transportation Engineering, Engineering Managemnet, Bioengineering and Medical Equipment, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Ceramics, Polymers, Food Technology, Mining and Metallurgic Engineering, Materials Science, Civil and Structural Engineering, Information Science, Electronic,Computer , Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Power Engineering, Marine Engineering, Architecture, Light and Optical Technology. In total it covers over 2,600 sources including journals, technical reports, conference papers and proceedings
